ConocoPhillips has established the ConocoPhillips SPIRIT Scholarship for Human Resources at Curtin University to encourage Human Resources students to consider a career in the energy industry. The program provides educational and long-term professional development for students. What it Covers : The ConocoPhillips SPIRIT Scholarship for Human Resources 2012 will provide the following: $6500 per annum (pro rata for 2012) to assist with costs associated with studying (tuition fees, textbooks, incidental expenses) for 2 years or the remainder of the course, whichever is lesser; and Up to $1500 per annum (pro rata for 2012) for professional development. In addition, ConocoPhillips may offer up to 12 weeks paid vacation employment during the summer break of 2012/2013, to be arranged in conjunction with ConocoPhillips. The timing of this employment may need to be flexible according to business needs and negotiated with the scholarship recipient.

Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria to be considered for The ConocoPhillips SPIRIT Scholarship for Human Resources: -Be an Australian citizen or Australian Permanent Resident -Be enrolled full time (100 credits per semester) in their penultimate year of an eligible Undergraduate or Masters degree in 2012, semester 2, or -be enrolled full time in an eligible Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in 2012, semester 2. -Have a minimum course weighted average of 65
