The University seeks to appoint one to two part-time research assistants to the Department of Veterinary Disease Biology to commence as soon as possible. The posts are limited to 8 months. In considering applications for the positions, the main emphasis will be on the applicant´s ability to document original scientific work at an international level within the area of aquatic pathobiology. The Laboratory of Aquatic Pathobiology is conducting teaching and research within fish immunology, fish pathology, fish nutrition and aquaculture. The candidate´s duties will primarily consist of: Research within fish immunology and fish parasitology Communication of research results to the public
Required qualifications -Publication record -Experience within aquatic pathobiology -Motivation and excellent scientific skills are essential -Good communication skills both oral and written -The successful candidates are also required to be enterprising and to possess good interpersonal skills.
