The Faculty of Business & Law at the University of Southampton invites applications for a Research Fellow in Transportation and Logistics to work within the newly formed research cluster Advanced Planning of Linked Logistics Operations (APOLLO) that is embedded within the Centre for Operational Research, Management Science and Information Systems (CORMSIS) and is closely linked to the Institute for Maritime Law (IML), both at the University of Southampton. The cluster is multidisciplinary in nature, spanning Schools of Management and Law.

You should have a PhD in management science, operational research, or a relevant area, preferably with applications to transportation and logistics, strong programming skills and ideally evidence of ability to publish in high-quality international journals. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. Applicants should possess excellent communication skills and be willing to work proactively with other members of the cluster as well as external sponsors, collaborators or colleagues.
