Endowed award; created by friends and family in loving memory of Zafrin Khandani, who tragically passed away in July of 2007. This award was created to inspire students to follow Zafrin’s example of unconditional love and acceptance of people of all backgrounds, faiths and cultures.

-Full time graduate students in the Religion & Culture program who have good academic standing (minimum cumulative GPA of 9.0), entering students must show a cumulative GPA of 9.0 during their last year of full time study (minimum of 5.0 credits) or equivalent; -Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident (landed immigrant) or Protected Person; -long term resident of Ontario; proven financial need. -Preference will be given to students with voluntary community involvement or work experience which integrates peoples of different cultures and faiths.
