The Institute for Frontier Material offers Ray Reynoldson Memorial PhD Scholarship in the field of Surface Engineering. This scholarship is available for pursuing PhD Research degree level. In recognition of the significant contribution to the field and outstanding support of research of the late Mr Ray Reynoldson, the Institute for Frontier Materials have established a Memorial PhD Research Scholarship in the field of Surface Engineering. The Ray Reynoldson Research Scholarship provides a stipend and research budget for an outstanding student to undertake a PhD in the field of Surface Engineering at the Institute for Frontier Materials (at Deakin University’s Waurn Ponds campus). The award honours the contribution and interests of Ray Reynoldson and, as such, will focus on projects in the fields of surface engineering and modification of materials, fluidisation and multi-phase flow, thermal and thermo-mechanical processing of materials. The scholarship will commence in 2013 and is for a duration of three years. Applications will be accepted until the scholarship has been allocated for 2013..
