The scholarship recipients are selected by an independent selection committee of the German Bundestag with the participation of universities in Berlin due to technical, social, linguistic and intercultural competences..  International Parliamentary Scholarships is a 5 months program.
The research areas of this scholarship are:  The scholarship holders are enrolled in the summer semester as a student at the Humboldt University in Berlin and at the request as a side listener to one of the other universities. Applicant can visit during the summer term of up to two courses at the Humboldt University in Berlin or one of the other universities in Berlin. In addition, they participate in a scientific accompanying the Free University, Humboldt University and the Technical University. In addition, the fellows will be introduced in studies seminars political foundations in the political, economic and cultural life of the Federal Republic of Germany.
