Curtin University offers 20 Excellence scholarships for undergraduates in Australia. Scholarships are provided in the field of Commerce, Business Administration, Law and Arts at Curtin University. The students of Australia and New Zealand can apply for these scholarships. The scholarship will provide cash payment of $1,500 per semester (based on a full time study load of 100 credit points each semester) to assist with costs associated with studying for the normal expected duration of the degree for which the scholarship is offered. Payments occur post census date each semester. The application deadline is 3rd January 2014.. The Curtin Business School (CBS) Excellence Scholarships are designed to reward and assist students who have demonstrated academic excellence through their ATAR in 2013 and want to pursue a career in business. Application forms are NOT required, students apply by selecting an eligible Curtin degree through TISC as their 1st Preference. Scholarships will be awarded up to the available quota, if quota’s apply, the scholarship will be awarded to students in order of the highest ATAR score. Candidates must be enrolling in their first semester of their first undergraduate degree in semester 1, 2014 into an eligible undergraduate business degree at Curtin University..  Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate degree level at Curtin University.

Who can apply to this scholarship? Candidates must meet all of the following criteria to be considered for a Curtin Business School Excellence Scholarship:
· Receive an ATAR of 96 or above in 2013
· Have selected Curtin University as a first preference through TISC to undertake an eligible undergraduate business degree by the scholarship closing date
· Receive an offer into the 1st preference degree that was selected at the scholarship closing date
· Be undertaking the first semester of their first undergraduate degree at Curtin University in semester 1, 2014
· Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or the holder of an Australian Permanent Humanitarian or Permanent Resident visa
· Be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported place
Benefits of the scholarship:  The scholarship will provide cash payment of $1,500 per semester (based on a full time study load of 100 credit points each semester) to assist with costs associated with studying for the normal expected duration of the degree for which the scholarship is offered. Payments occur post census date each semester. Payments will be made approximately mid-end April and September each year.
