The Asia New Zealand Foundation offers two David Holborow Memorial Scholarship awards each year to support students who are Korean descent. Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate degree level at New Zealand tertiary institutions. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents and be eligible to undertake full-time tertiary study. They must have studied for at least two years in a New Zealand secondary school. Applicants must demonstrate their Korean family background, usually parent(s), grandparent(s) or great grandparent(s). The value of the scholarship is $4,000. Who can apply to this scholarship? Students in the following categories may apply:
· New Zealand secondary school students of Korean descent starting undergraduate studies in 2014.
· New Zealand tertiary students of Korean descent currently studying at undergraduate level. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents, and be eligible to undertake full
· time tertiary study. They must have studied for at least two years in a New Zealand secondary school. Applicants must demonstrate their Korean family background, usually parent(s), grandparent(s) or great grandparent(s).
