ESAB Group Canada, Inc. established this scholarship to further support those who choose a career in welding and welding technology, achieved through post-secondary education and the outstanding contributions they may potentially make to the field in the future. Selection will be based on academic achievement and a demonstrated interest in welding and welding technology. Candidates must be nominated by their instructor via a 1 page letter describing the achievements of the student and why they are a deserving candidate for the award
