University of Auckland offers up to 10 Faculty of Science Grants for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degree level. The Grants will be made to candidates who have paid the fees or arranged to pay the fees for full-time enrollment in their second or subsequent years of study in any undergraduate or postgraduate science degree. The students of New Zealand can apply for these scholarships. The application deadline is 21 September 2013.. These support grants were established in 2011 as a result of funding being allocated to Maori and Pacific Island students from the Science Student Support fund. The grants aim to support Maori and Pacific Island undergraduate and postgraduate Science students, with demonstrated financial need, to further their studies..  Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degree level at University of Auckland.
The research areas of this scholarship are:  Students will be enrolled full-time in second and subsequent years of study in the Faculty of Science.
Who can apply to this scholarship? The Grants will be made to candidates who have paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, for full
· time enrolment in their second or subsequent years of study in any undergraduate or postgraduate Science degree at the University of Auckland.
Benefits of the scholarship:   Up to 10 Grants will be made each year and will be of the value of $500 to $2,000 each.
