JDS Scholarships for Master’s Students from Vietnam, Japan 2013

The Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS) program has been started in Vietnam since 2000. Up to now, total of 363 fellows have been sent to Japan.JDS program is now inviting potential applicants who understand its aims and are interested in 2 year master degree program at Japanese accepting universities for the academic year 2013-2014.The program will be instructed in English. The number of fellows is 30 per year.

– Citizen of Vietnam and residing in Vietnam at the time of application. – Between age of 24 and 34 as of April 1, 2013. – Must be government employee. -Required at least two years (including at least six months at current organization) of full-time work experience. – Has bachelor degree. -Has a good command of English (TOEFL ITP500 or iBT61 / IELTS 5.0 or higher); – IELTS: With no sub-band under 5.0 – For ICU applicants: TOEFL550 / IELTS6.5 or higher is preferred. – Only the scores obtained in the year 2011-2012 – Has good Health Condition: Pregnant applicants are not eligible for applying JDS. – Has not been obtained Master degree under the support of a foreign scholarship. – Must not be serving in the military.
