These Awards were established in 2011 and are funded by The University of Auckland. The main purpose of the Awards is to assist students who did not attend university directly from school and who are now entering their second or subsequent year of undergraduate study at The University of Auckland. Applicants must have the potential to succeed at University and be able to show that the financial assistance provided by this Award would make a significant contribution to their financial needs.
– Must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents of over two years standing. – Who did not undertake tertiary level study directly on leaving school. – Who have undertaken one or more years of previous study towards an undergraduate degree, New Start Programme, Foundation Certificate or other approved Certificate (such as the Certificate in Health Sciences) at The University of Auckland.
