University of Copenhagen is inviting application for a PhD fellowship available for a research project “drug lead identification”. The position is available for a three-year period for applicants holding a relevant master´s degree. Fellowship will be available from 1 August 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter. The applicant must have: obtained a Master´s degree in a relevant subject area prior to the starting date. The application deadline is 26 May 2014.. The Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen is pleased to announce that a PhD fellowship will be available from 1 August 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter. The PhD fellowship is part of the interdisciplinary research programme “Plants for a Changing World” funded by the UCPH Excellence Programme for Interdisciplinary Research. The application deadline is 26 May 2014. Applications are invited for the three-year fellowship from applicants who hold or expect to hold a master´s degree in a field relevant to the project.. Who can apply to this scholarship?
· The applicant must have: obtained a Master´s degree in a relevant subject area prior to the starting date and fluency in English and excellent communication skills
· The successful applicant must have a good training in modern methods in synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry and spectroscopy including an advanced knowledge of modern NMR spectroscopic methods.
