The Danish National Research Foundation´s Centre for Textile Research (CTR) and the Faculty of Humanities, University of Copenhagen invite applications for a three-year PhD scholarship. The Centre for Textile Research explores the connection between textile, environment and society in the 1st and 2nd millennium BC. PhD projects must be related to research conducted within the fields of the research programmes Textile Crafts and Cultures (TECC) or Textile Economies in the Mediterranean Area (TEMA).

The successful applicant will be enrolled in the PhD School at the Faculty of Humanities from 1 October 2012 or later. The PhD program is a three-year study program. The daily work place will be at the Centre for Textile Research.
