As a PhD student you will have the following tasks: the design and execution of research, project-related training, and limited teaching duties. We expect you to present your research results in renowned scientific journals and at international conferences. The research should lead to a PhD thesis.The Institute for Management Research (IMR) conducts fundamental and applied research on the development, design and effectiveness of the public and private structures that regulate, govern and manage human interaction. These structures exist at various levels, ranging from urban networks to whole societies and from individual organizations and firms to macro-economic systems.
You should hold a Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline. You are expected to have thorough knowledge of micro / industrial economics and basic knowledge of marketing. Moreover, you should have basic knowledge of measuring consumer behaviour and conducting scientific experiments. You should be proficient in Dutch and English, or be prepared to acquire the necessary language skills. You should be able to work both independently and as member of an interdisciplinary research team.
