The division Redox Regulation is looking for a highly motivated PhD student to study the role of endogenous oxidants in lung cancer development. The project will involve in vivo and in situ redox imaging in a mouse tumor model using newly developed biosensor technology (compare Albrecht et al. 2011 Cell Metab 14(6)). The project is part of the BMBF-funded LungSys initiative.
Candidates should have a strong background in cellular and molecular biology.
