The college includes the dean’s office, a student service center, the institute for basic research and research methods in psychology, the institute for applied psychology (health, development, training), and the institute for labor, education, and economy. Current enrollment is 3900 students. The teaching faculty currently includes 200 individuals. The number of courses offered each semester is larger than 250. The Department of Psychological Basic Research and Research Methods 471 expects to fill the position of a “Universitätsassistent (post doc)” for 3 years.
-PhD in Psychology with emphasis on quantitative methods of data analysis. -Expertise in programming and programming languages. -Expertise in research methods in general, and, in particular, modeling and the analysis of categorical and longitudinal data. -Interest in an additional substantive domain of psychological scholarship is expected, for example, developmental psychology. -International publication and presentation activities are expected. -Desirable is experience in university-level teaching. -Capacity for team work, social competence, cooperative work style, flexibility, experience in the acquisition of externally funded projects, expertise in log-linear modeling.
