This scholarship is in honour of Professor Mahmoud Hessaby who dedicated his life to Physics, Science, Research and Teaching. Professor Hessaby was educated first in Beirut, he obtained his Biology degree at the age of seventeen. He later earned Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Medicine, Mathematics and Astronomy. He continued research in Physics on “Sensitivity of Photoelectric Cells” and received his PhD in the age of twenty-five from Sorbonne University.
– The minimum academic requirements for an Iranian postgraduate student to be considered for the Professor Hessaby scholarship. – Bachelors degree from a recognized university with a minimum GPA of 14/20 or a Masters degree from a recognized university. – Minimum IELTS score of 6.5 – Students applying for the Professor Hessaby scholarship must hold an unconditional offer on one of our Masters courses.
