The Faculty of Medicine is committed to supporting an environment that delivers teaching and research excellence and wishes to appoint a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Academic Unit for Medical Education. You will be expected to teach, assess and evaluate learning and support students across the BM6 widening access programme. You will also be expected to contribute as required to aspects of other Faculty of Medicine undergraduate programmes.

PhD/postgraduate degree or equivalent professional qualification in physiology or biochemistry (or closely related subject) Experience in teaching basic medical sciences Detailed understanding and knowledge of basic medical sciences to include physiology, biochemistry, basic numeracy and statistics and IT or closely related subject) Commitment to widening access to HE Teaching qualification (PCAP or equivalent) Experience of development and delivery of teaching and assessment at undergraduate or postgraduate level Experience of coordination of academic modules or similar Experience of educational research
