Victoria University of Wellington is committed to fostering a community of learning that is representative of New Zealand’s diverse society. The University seeks to ensure that the educational opportunities it offers are accessible to all students. By facilitating participation through scholarship support, the University acknowledges the value of the future academic achievements and contributions, to the University and to the wider community that these scholarship recipients will make.

– Any student represented in one of the above groups who has attended at least three years at Te Aro School and who has completed or is completing their studies at a New Zealand secondary school and who has not already been enrolled as a full-time student in a degree level programme in a tertiary institution, is eligible to apply.
– Within each identified group, applicants must show strong academic potential. This will be measured by the applicant’s Year 12 results in NCEA level 2 or higher, or in an equivalent qualification. Applicants should have NCEA level 2 endorsed with Merit, or equivalent.
